Terms of service.

By accessing or using Hilio Connect ("Hilio", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of service and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to register for a Hilio account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Hilio is a two-sided marketplace connecting DJs/artists with promoters/event organizers. Hilio does not employ any DJs or promoters and is not a party to any agreement formed between users.

All bookings, fees, performances, and obligations are between the DJ and the promoter directly. Hilio provides tools to surface, communicate, and track bookings but does not guarantee any outcome.

You retain ownership of all content (bios, EPKs, gig listings, messages) you upload to Hilio. By uploading content, you grant Hilio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your content and warrant that you have all necessary rights to share it.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent gig opportunities.
• Impersonate any person, artist, or entity.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam.
• Attempt to bypass Hilio fees by directing transactions off-platform.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.

Hilio offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime via your subscription settings. Refunds are issued at Hilio's sole discretion in accordance with applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued prior to termination.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Hilio does not guarantee that any gig, booking, or contact will materialize, and disclaims responsibility for the conduct of any user.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hilio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts located in London, United Kingdom.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
